Cozy and friendly, The Farmers Arms offers the perfect blend of country charm combined with a sophisticated menu, extensive wine list and down-to-earth service.
Whilst we offer a relaxed style of service, our menu is far from typical pub food. We pride ourselves on offering a warm, friendly environment that comfortably accommodates groups of all sizes and for all occasions. The Farmers Arms is a pub with a very loyal, local clientele and an often busy bar, creating a wonderful atmosphere and lots of opportunities to find out what’s happening around town.
We don’t take bookings and ask that you simply come in, grab yourself a seat and order food & drinks at the bar. If, on your arrival, you are looking for a table to become free, we’ll organise this for you and let you know as soon as one becomes available.
The Farmers Arms is open from 12 noon - 11pm, 7 days a week with lunch from 12-3pm and dinner orders from 5:30 - 9pm.

We were recommended for dinner by locals. We arrived at 7pm on Saturday night and the pub was standing room only. We were told it was an hour wait for a table do we sat at the bar. We had the lamb shanks and beef bourgignon pie....both absolutely to die for. My partner lived in France and rated the pie as one of the best he has had!!!!
